About me

I'm a product designer and design strategist since 2013. I lead design teams and am responsible for a given product's overall user experience.

I led many enterprise design projects for The Weather Company and IBM.

Design philosophy

My approach to design is two fold:
1.) Highly user centric Design Thinking process and
2.) Fits the needs of the companies’ product strategy.

With a user centric approach, I research who the users or customers are, i.e. understand their wants, needs, goals, and pain points. It’s vital to know one is solving the right problems and then prioritize the highest value opportunities to pursue. I create various design artifacts, e.g. personas, workflow diagrams, wireframes, hi-fidelity prototypes, and work closely with development teams for implementation.

From a product strategy perspective, I lead highly collaborative efforts across various key teams or stakeholders within an organization (Product, Marketing, Development, Design, etc.) to ensure the design outcomes aligns with an organization’s short, medium, and long term product strategy.
